Your Questions, Answered

  • I’m both a digital and traditional artist, and I offer a range of premium, gallery‑grade art services. Alongside my curated collection of fine art prints, I also create custom oil paintings based on any artwork you love from my boutique.

If you see a printed artwork that you’d prefer as an original oil painting, you’re welcome to reach out through my Contact page. Pricing varies depending on the size and complexity of the piece. A 25% upfront deposit secures your commission, and you’ll receive progress updates throughout the creation process so you can follow each stage as your painting comes to life.

  • Absolutely. If you love a print but prefer a different frame colour or style, you’re welcome to contact me to discuss your preferences. Frame pricing can vary depending on the framing rates.

Once you’ve chosen your preferred frame, the full framing cost is paid upfront. An invoice with payment details will be emailed directly to you for a smooth and secure checkout process.

  • Understanding the nuances between screen display and print output is crucial to managing expectations regarding print quality. Here's why the print may not always match what you see on your monitor:

    1. Screen Calibration: The settings on your monitor, including brightness, contrast, and colour temperature, can significantly impact how colours are displayed. Unless your monitor is calibrated specifically for print workflows, the colours you see on screen may not accurately represent the final print.

    2. Colour Variations: Different devices and screens may interpret colons differently. Factors such as monitor type, brand, age, and even ambient lighting conditions can affect colour perception. As a result, what appears vibrant and true-to-life on your screen may translate differently when printed.

    3. Print Mediums: The type of paper or material used for printing can influence colour reproduction. Factors like paper texture, finish, and absorption rate can subtly alter the appearance of printed colours compared to what you see on screen.

    4. Print Process: The printing process itself, whether it's giclee or traditional, may introduce variations in colour reproduction. Factors like printer calibration, ink quality, and printing technique can all influence the final output.

    5. Calibrated Print Workflow: Achieving consistent colour accuracy between screen and print requires a calibrated print workflow. This involves using colour management tools and calibration devices to ensure that what you see on screen closely matches the final printed result. Without this calibration, there may be discrepancies between screen display and print output.

In essence, while advancements in technology have narrowed the gap between screen and print colours, achieving perfect colour matching still requires careful consideration of various factors. By understanding the potential differences between screen display and print output, you can better manage expectations and appreciate the unique qualities of both mediums.
